Firefox Fix For Friday
A reader contacted me and told me that my style sheets don’t display in Firefox. All those fancy blue swirlies aren’t displaying. Other style sheets *are* displaying, oddly enough.
I had been wanting to try out Firefox anyway, and after downloading it and loading Chasing the Wind, sure enough, it’s just a big white screen with no formatting. Oddly, the style sheets for “Courtney” and “WordPress” work, but not the other three, “Blue Swirly,” (the default), “Metal Dreams,” and “Water Play.”
Ok, that was a puzzle too simple to figure out – the ones with two names don’t display, the single name style sheets do. I removed all the spaces out of the names, and now it works fine in Firefox again.
This might affect you if you were using one of the alternate style sheets; if you were using “Metal Dreams” that name no longer exists. You’ll have to re-select “MetalDreams” to choose that style again.

I want the blue swirlies back – - it is so much more you than this drab white

Er… something’s still broke?
*putters around behind the scenes*
Ah.. I still had “Blue Swirly” listed as the default. I took out the space and changed it to “BlueSwirly.” That drab white thingy was the unformatted version all the Firefox people were seeing.
Are the blue swirlies back?

I see blue swirles but that could be left over from that Pink Floyd concert
