Open Carefully

Posted on August 24, 2004. Filed under: Stories | Tags: |

On the second floor of my office, I found a Dasani vending machine. It dispenses bottled water. On the front is a big sign that says, “OPEN BOTTLE CAREFULLY.”

That’s important safety information for consumers. Are you aware of how dangerous that liquid is? If one part oxygen, a highly flammable gas, isn’t enough, it has twice the amount of hydrogen. Think Hindenburg disaster.

Can’t be too careful.

ROTFLMAO!

You visited a vending machine without supervision??? That’s a one week grounding offense for sure.

I’ll check with Electrical, but I’m pretty sure I’m grounded already.

with all of these “caution” instructions pretty soon they will literally be everywhere – - today water tomorrow where?

“Caution – air contains oxygen. Breathe with caution.”

Really, it should read “Caution- air contains nitrogen.”

Har har har. Chemical engineering humor.

You could die! Nitrogen is toxic!
