I have been glued to the TV for hours looking at this monster storm heading towards New Orleans. I was watching TWC reports coming in from offshore recording storm serge of 30 feet. Lets all put our prayers together for these folks in her path because it’s not gonna be good.

Intimidating the Army

Posted on August 23, 2005. Filed under: Family | Tags: |

I found out my son may *not* graduate this weekend after all. He’s passed everything except for his P.T. test (physical training), and he’ll retake that test this afternoon. Please pray for Alex today that he passes his P.T. test this afternoon. I tried to intimidate the Army captain by telling him that I already [...]

Perfect Engagement

Posted on August 22, 2005. Filed under: General, Odd Websites | Tags: , |

When I asked Diane to marry me, I tried to make it as romantic as possible. Outdoors, in a gazebo, azaleas blooming, down on one knee… It was almost perfect. I forgot the tortoise. Supermodel Claudia Schiffer realised she had found true love with husband MatthewVaughan when she gratefully accepted a tortoise instead of an [...]

Part of that post was a Worldnet article called “10 Reasons I’ve Grown to Despise the Left.” The visitor disagreed with the post and cited all sorts of things wrong with right wingers. I threw a penalty flag in my [...]
