The Gospel

Posted on October 29, 2005. Filed under: Movies and TV | Tags: , |

I saw The Gospel last night. While the movie could have benefitted from better editing, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It dealt with a variety of Christian issues, from pride to doubt to anger and hate, and how Christians overcame their doubts. The rarity to me was that this was a positive, Christian movie role model for blacks, a wonderful change from other black rap die kill money bling type movies.

It doesn’t appear it’s doing well at the theaters, so if you want to catch it, catch it this weekend.
