Jesus Fed the Hungry.

He's also feeding me, and I'm getting larger.

I had to change the paragraphs below. Here I was complaining about people making sweeping generalizations about Christians, and I found out I was just as guilty making sweeping generalizations about non-Christians. Thanks for keeping me honest, Courtney. :)

Reaching Out

The Christians I know are full of warmth, compassion, and fun. They have a lot of reasons to enjoy life. But sometime I'll meet a non-believers that thinks all think Christians are uptight, humorless people.

I have no idea where someone would get this impression. Made-for-tv movies, maybe. If I accomplish nothing else with this website, I want to correct that perception - Christians are warm, loving, and full of fun. They want the best for *everybody*, not just their own close circle of friends. They want the best for *you*.

And you can't argue I don't have a sense of humor. You can argue it isn't any good, but you can't argue I don't have one at all. :)

It has a very nice search function when I'm looking for a particular passage. Sometimes I read the Bible like a technical specification due to my engineering background.

Matthew 22:36-40

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
