Whee! My First Inbound Link!

Ok, it’s such a little thing. I’ve been chatting away for most of this month, mostly by myself, like I’m suffering from from self-focused dementia. I don’t want to wander aimlessly around the blogosphere asking for people to link to me ‘cuz that smacks of desparation. Unless somebody links to me, though, the only people that will ever read this site are friends and family members I call and say, “Did you read what I wrote? No? Well, I what I wrote was…. “

I’m going to make a little plaque, and enshrine this little link – Uptown Girl graced me with my first link today. That means there are at least 2 people reading this. (Me being the other one.)

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
