I Am Not a Victim

Some people are, or at least they claim to be. “Oh, I didn’t WANT to take a nap, but I just HAD to!” or “I couldn’t stay awake; I needed a nap.”

Not me. Oh no, I SIEZED the NAP. It was MINE ALL MINE MWAHAHAHA….

When I take control of the situation, I feel good about it.

My solution with GoDaddy has knocked me offline for 14 hours so far, and their website still says “Pending DNS change”. When I grew frustrated that the simple mysql table problem wouldn’t even be looked at for 3 days, I had a brain fart – I could just delete the webhosting and create it, and get a new table that way!

The GoDaddy “tech” support told me that since I wasn’t changing servers, everything should be active in 20 minutes. Of course, the next tech support call told me 48 hours. So I’m amusing myself since in all likelihood nobody will be able to read this for 2 more days.

I’m SIEZING the inactivity. Sigh.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
