Russia Says Iraq Planned Terrorist Attacks

Of course Saddam was a terrorist. Did we think we was in the Peace Corps?

ASTANA, Kazakhstan (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin, in comments sure to help President Bush, declared Friday that Russia knew Iraq’s Saddam Hussein had planned terror attacks on U.S. soil and had warned Washington.

Putin said Russian intelligence had been told on several occasions that Saddam’s special forces were preparing to attack U.S. targets inside and outside the United States.

“After the events of September 11, 2001, and before the start of the military operation in Iraq, Russian special services several times received information that the official services of the Saddam regime were preparing ‘terrorist acts’ on the United States and beyond its borders,” he told reporters.

Saddam killed millions, used WMDs, flaunted UN Resolutions, attempted to assasinate a US President, and was planning attacks on the US.

God bless our American troops over there protecting us. I think I’m done tolerating arguments that say otherwise. What more justification did we need?

Notice the little jab in the news release – “in comments sure to help President Bush” – as though that’s supposed to be bad news. Why doesn’t it say “in comments sure to reassure Americans their actions were justified?” Why does it imply that this is bad news for Kerry? Isn’t he supposed to be an American, too?

because it is all about the liberal media and what they feed down the throats of Americans who don’t want to hear any good news or to be reassured – – it’s sad, but most of our society is negative and only thrives on the failures of those in charge.

You gotta love the liberal writers. They have no idea what they are talking about,. most of them I believe we should send over to Iraq if they think life is so bad over here and they dont like the decisions we are making.
