Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

Kerry Wants to Be Just like Bush

Kerry added a new twist to his criticisms of Bush. Now he says he believes in the pre-emptive strike, the part of Bush’s foreign policy attacked most often. He says he would attack first if he had sound intelligence information found credible by American and their allies. Then he criticized Bush again for “going it alone.”

A good reporter should ask him these questions:

  • We had credible evidence that Saddam had WMDs and wanted to attack the US. Europe thought that had WMDs too, including France. Everybody believed that. Even you, Kerry, since you voted to authorize the war. Iraq spent 12 years defying the world’s attempt to disarm him. Would you have attacked Iraq, or would you have given them another 12 years?
  • There is substantial evidence that the U.N. Oil for Food program was corrupt and that billions of dollars from Iraq were being used to pay U.N. and France officials. That may be a significant reason France would not support this war under any circumstances. In order to keep from “going it alone,” would you offer to bribe France with even more money, or would you invade France and force them to join us? Or do you have another solution?

As if that wasn’t enough, Kerry then attacked the “No Child Left Behind” law, saying that Bush isn’t spending enough on education.

  • Breaking News: Kerry voted for the “No Child Left” Behind law in 2001.
  • More Breaking News: Spending on Education is up 60.8% since Bush took office.

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
