Enterprise Season 4 Spoilers

The SciFiWire interviewed Jolene Blalock about the upcoming season 4, who let slip a couple of spoilers…

She gets married in the 3rd episode. To who? Trip? She won’t say, though she’s doesn’t sound like that’s likely:

“I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that some catfish-eating honky-tonk guy would be appealing to this serene character, personally, but, you know, maybe there’s something in the difference. … It depends on the writing. It depends on how it evolves. It can’t just be, ‘Hey, buddy, let’s go do it.’ Like, what is that?”

Heh. Once you put it that way, well, yeah, it’s not logical. What about those funky emotions she struggled with?

“That was difficult for me, because you’re treading unfamiliar ground with that character when you bring in emotions. And it was difficult for me. I kept asking a lot of questions to the producers and the writers. ‘What do you mean by this? How far do you want me to go? Where’s this coming from?’ I really had to justify it to myself as an actor. … I find it odd that you have this very respected officer who is a strong female, who is trustworthy and reliable and loyal, and it seems like last season that it was kind of torn down to this emotional, wacky chick who needs to get laid. And does. It’s very bizarre. It was very hard for me.

Perhaps the alien San Franciso Nazis from last season will… I dunno, I’m a complete loss where they’re going with that story line. Still, I’m looking forward to the new season. Pizza & Star Trek night has been going on forever between Sean’s house and mine. Next season will be on Friday nights instead. Pizza every Friday, mmmmm. 🙂

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
