Sondra – the trouble was I was 5 miles down the road before my sleepy brain started asking me if I had closed the door.

I sometimes bet my neighbors think I’m crazy. I’ll leave the house and then turn around and come back and there are times I’ve left the door opened. It’s not that it is an obsessive thing to check – – it’s a “I wasn’t thinking and know it’s up” thing.
So did you close it or was it opened?

My son, AWOL for 2 days with his first trip to college AND DIDN’T EVEN CALL HIS FATHER TO LET HIM KNOW IF HE WAS OK told me the garage door was down when he got home.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”
If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
