Mini Blog Party

Saturday night, Courtney (and her husband Andy), Jo (and her husband Rob), and I had a itsy bitsy teeny weeny blog party. A dinner at the Fox & Hound, a faux English pub with decent food, followed by some billiards.

You don’t know how much I wanted to show Jo and her amazing pool cue swallowing ability. Perhaps Courtney or Jo will blog it on her site. 😛

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
