Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

What's Kerry's Position?

I’ve read this a couple of times. Listen to this and tell me what you think John Kerry’s position on Iraq is:

IMUS: “Do you think there are any circumstances we should have gone to war in Iraq, any?”

KERRY: “Not under the current circumstances, no. There are none that I see. I voted based on weapons of mass destruction. The President distorted that, and I’ve said that. I mean, look, I can’t be clearer. But I think it was the right vote based on what Saddam Hussein had done, and I think it was the right thing to do to hold him accountable. I’ve said a hundred times, there was a right way to do it and a wrong way to do it. The President chose the wrong way. Can’t be more direct than that.”

  1. but not two weeks ago he said he would still have gone into Iraq even if he had known there were no WMD – – this guy is clear like mud

  2. Drudge today is reporting that Kerry says he only has one position on Iraq, but it doesn’t say what that position is.

  3. I agree with that – – Kerry does have one position on Iraq – – the ever changing position

  4. When Kerry says he has “one position” he is tacitly acknowledging what we all know — that he wouldn’t need to say that if he only had one position.

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
