Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

Deer Lease Available

My friend Ryszard has 5 openings on a deer lease. I expect there aren’t a whole lot of Texas hunters that stop by Chasing the Wind, but you never know. Drop a comment and fill in your email address if you’re interested and I’ll see that he gets the message:

Howdy!

Hope your hunting season is doing well. If you don’t mind, I would appreciate it if you pased around to anyone you know looking to get on a deer lease, I expect we’ll have 5 openings for next year.

Our lease is in Schleicher County, 20 miles west of Menard. It’s 1500 acres and costs $1850 plus feed. We have a local guy who works at a feed store in Menard, and he fills our feeders for us at a very reasonable price. Our lease is for One trophy buck, 8 pt.s or better, two does, Turkeys and Doves to the limit of your license. It’s a year round lease and includes spring turkey season.

There is a camp, with electricity and water. There is a what we call a cabin, but it’s more like an old portable building. It has electicity, but no water. (yet) Most of us have trailers, which we have elctricity and water for.

Please feel free to call or e-mail me for more info.

Thanks,

Ryszard Zadow

  2. I would like more information on the deer lease and location.

We have a few families looking for yearly lease. Deer, quail etc.

We want a good place to take our children to teach them to hunt. Experienced, responsible hunters.

  5. What in the world is a deer lease? If I decide I don’t like my deer, can I return it? It justs sounds funny to this country girl from the wide open spaces of Idaho…

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
