I decided to play hooky; I’m only feeling 85-90% today. When my brain is foggy with antihistimines, I thought that was the best time to make major, technical upgrades. Voila, WordPress 1.5 is installed.
The default “kubrick” theme is up for now; I’ll convert the old templates one at a time.
If you notice anything funky, let me know. If there’s something missing that you enjoyed, also let me know. Today will be Tweaking Day. 🙂
I only have the blue swirly theme up at the moment; the other themes didn’t convert very well. Oh well, it’ll give me something to do. 😛

Call me crazy, but I love tinkering with things like this. Oh sure, I get frustrated when things don’t work exactly as I expect, but when I do finally get them working the feeling is priceless.

Actually, I enjoy it a lot, but it takes a lot more time than I seem to have lately. I dislike the “Kubrick” theme because it’s so common and plain and has large borders, so I want to get my old themes back up and running as soon as I can.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”
If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
