Error Reporting

Internet Explorer locked up on me. I hit the “yes, send a report to Microsoft.” If I can annoy Microsoft with repeated error reports, perhaps they’ll eventually fix their products to that I don’t have to submit error reports.

Today, I get a popup, “Thank you for taking the time to report this problem. Please follow the link below for information which may prevent this problem in the future.”

Woohoo! They have a solution! At least that’s what it sounds like. I click the “More Information” button…

A Solution Is Not Available For the Problem You Reported

Problem Description:

An unknown error occurred on your computer that caused Internet Explorer to malfunction.

Problem Resolution:

At this time a solution is not available for the problem you reported.

Well. That was helpful…. in a non-helpful sort of way.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
