My hobby, ever since around 1975, has been computers. I play games, I dabble in programming, I communicate with others… but I’ve always wished I could just eat my monitor.
My wish is nearly here. The Tastescreen has small plastic flavor cartridges that drip flavors across the monitor. “A user can sample the dispensed flavor by touching his tongue to the computer screen. Certain combinations of flavoring agents recreate a flavor appropriate to the user’s task.”
Mmmm…. tasty. 🙂
That’s just kind of strange – – I mean my monitor seems to get fingerprints on it and I never recall touching it – – and since that happens I’m thinking licking my screen wouldn’t be such a good idea 😉

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”
If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
