Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

Music Meme

I think this is the first time I’ve ever used the word “meme.”

Miss Vox tagged me over a month ago to do this – and since I didn’t get a pingback for some reason, I almost missed it. Then I wrote it on my todo list so I could reschedule it umpteen times.

Total volume of music files on my computer:

Where does one find this sort of information? Ah, there it is, under Windows Media. A paltry 382 files, most of those synced to my Palm Lifedrive for exercising. I listen to Launchcast at my computer, not CD’s.

The last CD I bought was:

Well, this will showoff my eclectic tastes. I bought 3: Sawyer Brown’s Greatest Hits, Trout Fishing in America’s It’s a Puzzle, and The Essential Dean Martin.

Last acquired:

The same CD’s listed above. Pay attention. 😛

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:

I’m a random kind of guy. The one that means the most to me right now is “Memory” by Sarah Brightman, but that’s because it’s currently playing. 😛

Top five genres:

Contemporary Christian
Country
Adult Alternative
Vocal Jazz
Modern Blues

Five people to whom I’m passing the baton:

I’ll pick on 5 people I’ve never picked on before and see if they’re paying attention. 😛

Baldilocks
Drink This
Coffee Swirls
Messy Christian
Just a Girl

  1. Memeing this…

So, Michael at Chasing the Wind tagged the tallglassofmilk for a music meme to see if I was paying attention. Took me 3 days to discover, 5 before I got the post up. Let’s see if he’s paying attention that

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
