I think most people think Hillary Clinton will take the Democratic nomination for President in 2008. Since Hillary won’t take the looney-left-oppose-the-war-at-all-costs position, the anti-war left is looking for somebody to oppose her.
If Cindy’s campaign gets some resonance, then Hillary has to take a position, and either way, she alienates half of her base.
Heck, I’ll donate to that campaign. Go Cindy!
