Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

The Return

I’m nearly back, I think. Thanks, Sean, for pitching in a couple of times while I was gone.

Lots of things going on lately – besides business at work, we have a new bible class starting up and I’m trying to get geared up to teach every 3 weeks or so. It’s exciting.

And then… this business trip came up. I decided to take my wife, and everything had to be planned twice since I had to reserve through my company, but I wasn’t permitted to reserve hers. Bleh.

Can’t complain, though, I saw a lot of Europe the last few weeks. I can’t begine to fill it all in, but here’s a snapshot:

  • Paris, France, then
  • Le Havre, France, then
  • back to Paris, then
  • Valenciennes, France, then
  • Chwaszczyno, Poland (through Gdansk and a nice stay in Sopot), then
  • back to Paris, then
  • Honfleur, France, then
  • Alberone di Cento, Italy (we stayed in Ferrara), then
  • Milano, Italy, then
  • back to Paris and then
  • home again.

Whew. Blogging had to take a back seat for a while. Thanks for understanding. 🙂

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
