A manger scene without baby Jesus?
ST. ALBANS, W.Va. – Christ is missing from Christmas in this small town. The community’s holiday display has a manger with shepherds, a guiding star, camels and a palm tree, but no baby Jesus, Mary or Joseph.
The parks superintendent said Jesus was left out because of concerns about the separation of church and state.
Ah yes, camels and palm trees, the reason for the season.
That’s just dumb.

Sigh.
Where has all the testicular fortitude gone?
I’m sure that we will all miss it soon.

Do you think the guiding star should be eliminated, too?

Oh,the star can stay – after all, it’s only guiding people to camels.

First of all you need to have all the details before you start posting comments. Second we where going to make the display we had just not got it done yet, people let the news blow all this stuff out of wack he says she says. Dave Cunningham had nothing to do with the scene being uncompleted. We had just not had time to complete it the news and the people that have nothing else to do but drive around and complaine about whats goin on around them when they probley need to worry about whats goin on in their own life so make sure you no what’s goin on before you post a comment not just what you here on the news. We have a very good mayor in the town of St.Albans and a very good park superindetent and there intension was not to offend anyone. If you would like to see our light show it will be open from 6-9 7 days a week except for christmas eve and christmas day to celebrate the birth of “Christ”.

So, Brian, what part did I miss? Did you click the news article? It clearly says the parks superintendent Dave Cunningham left the baby Jesus out of the display so as not to offend anyone.
You’re saying the same thing, except you put “Christ” in quotation marks.
