I Can't Come to the Terrorist Briefing, Please Leave a Message at the Beep

On Larry King last night, King asked John Kerry about Homeland Security’s Tom Ridge warning about a possible terrorist attack.

KING: News of the day, Tom Ridge warned today about al Qaeda plans of a large-scale attack on the United States. Didn’t increase the — you see any politics in this? What’s your reaction?

KERRY: Well, I haven’t been briefed yet, Larry. They have offered to brief me. I just haven’t had time.

Kerry didn’t have time; see, he had this Larry King interview, and later he had that fundraiser…

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
