Major media using fake documents in order to influence the election for the leader of the free world and choose who will lead the fight against terrorism for the next 4 years.
Just thought it needed to be said. You know, in case you were wondering.

You know, sometimes the obvious must be stated for those that are less than receptive to the truth.

What Anthony said. Even I -not that I’m any great thinker- go about in such a fog that I need things explained to me in simple terms. There’s so much information out there; breaking it down for mass consumption is needed!

It’s apparent to me that CBS and Dan Rather want John Kerry to win. They used to at least pretend they weren’t biased; now they’re outright lying to the American people in order to accomplish their goals.

Oh, there is no doubt about that Michael. Anymore, they are just as bad as PBS, in my mind. It’s too bad that they are the only source some people have for the news.

From American Spectator, the documents were handed to the Democratic National Committee by an opposition research staffer, who handed them to the Kerry compaign, who handed them to CBS. All along there were questions because Killian’s comments about George Bush were previously all glowing reports.
Apparently, Kerry’s campaign expected CBS to do research into authenticity, but CBS decided just to run with them.
I spent some time on a couple of liberal websites like the Democratic Underground, and they’re saying (a) forgeries? No, they’re real! (b) but if they’re fake, Karl Rove set us up!
I don’t know which is worse for them. Either way, they look like they’re inept.

One has to ask … if they have to add a “but if” concerning authenticity of documents, what does that say about how careful or committed the Kerry camp is when it comes to passing on only truth? I for one would not want to pass on anything that may come back to bite me in the butt.

Cox & Forkum has a great cartoon, and post, about this – and the power of bloggers in breaking/spreading the story

Yeah, that cartoon pretty much hit the nail on the head.

It’s unheard of that CBS has tried to defend itself twice. Bloggers aren’t letting it go, though.
CBS wants to focus on the story in the memos, but that’s not happening. And CBS says the memos are true unless somebody proves otherwise. Sorry, Dan, that’s not the way it works – it’s up to the news organization to prove the memos are real, but you can’t do it – 90% of the typography experts out there have already spoken up and said the memos are fake. And now Air National Guard veterans are speaking up and saying the memos are frauds, too, and use the military lingo wrong.
They’re not even *good* frauds.

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.
Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”
If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
