A Sad American

Thanks to a tip from Spritzy, I read this article from A Sad American.

Absolutely amazing article about why this average middle of the road American didn’t really want to vote for Bush, but the Democratic party alienated her so bad she couldn’t vote for Kerry. Highly recommended reading for both conservative and liberal people.

What’s best for America is a healthy two-party sytem that both want what’s best for America. Right now I feel like the Democrats hate everybody that disagree with them, and also hate half of the people that do agree with them.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
