Closest Restaurant

When I use Google Maps to find “restaurants near (my address), houston, tx,” Google helpfully tells me that the closest restaurant is a Cinnabon less than 0.5 miles.

Good to know when I’m famished and need to eat quickly. Time is of the essence. And I know where the Cinnabon is, too.

And I’m feeling sort of famished, now that I think about it.

    Just tried it out and it was very useful – thanks.
    Don’t even think about going to that Cinnabon without me young man!

    We could not understand the location (my home well off the main road)

    Suggestions:

    Make sure all street and city names are spelled correctly.
    Make sure your address includes a city and state.
    Try entering a zip code.

    I can find restaurants in your town, though. Mr. Gatti’s, Golden Chick, Perks Coffee Bar…

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
