Sock Thieves

I have way too many socks. I buy socks because socks disappear and they must be replaced. I have 3 drawers full of socks – dress socks, white socks, short exercise socks, boot socks…

Wait a sec. I’m packing my bag for the gym, and I want those short white socks. I must own a dozen of them – I thought I had a 1/2 dozen and couldn’t find them, so I bought another 1/2 dozen.

I searched all 3 drawers. One pair of socks at a time. I don’t have any short white socks.

Aaaaiiiiiiieeee!!! Where do my socks go? Do I have to buy MORE socks? Do I need to make a 4th drawer for socks?

    Remember what those lovely people at the information booth at the Cinthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion told us years ago? “The little people are using the missing socks for sleeping bags”!
