Great Balls of Fire

Goodness, I joined my wife for lunch today and couldn’t help but notice the sky was a funny color. Usually it’s a very dark, almost black color, but at lunch it was a light blue color with fluffy white splotches.

And there was this great big yellow glowing thing, just hovering there. Scary.

    I love this… I worked the night shift for about 5 years. I finally quit about a year ago. It’s so nice to see that big yellow light 🙂

    Somebody told me this week it was called “sun.” I thought that was a fairy tale. 😛

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
