Stimulus saved or created 650,000 jobs: White House

I, personally, saved or created over 3 million jobs myself, using only my mind.

According to the US Department of Labor, there were 15.1 million people unemployed at the end of September. That means that without my help, there would have been 18.1 million unemployed.

So Obama is claiming he saved or created 650,000 jobs. Even assuming that is true – and you can’t prove that any more than my 3 million jobs – the White House rammed a $787 billion Stimulous bill to do it. That works out to $1,210,769 per job “saved.”

US Census estimates there are 115 million households in the US. I think a better use of the money would have been just to give out $7,000 per household. Just as expensive, but at least you and I would have been able to touch it.
