Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

The Lego Bible

If Diane and I decide to get married in a Lego Church (ssshhh…. she might be reading this…) then perhaps we could take our instruction from the fine people at The Brick Testament who have built an illustrated Bible entirely out of LEGOs. For instance, 1 Corinthians 7:1-2,

Yes, it is a good thing for a man not to touch a woman; yet to avoid immorality, every man should have his own wife, and every woman her own husband

is illustrated with a lovely picture of a wedding:
Going to the chapel and we are going to be married, la la la

Lots more there, too, including the Genesis, Exodus, and the Gospels.

  1. If we get married at the lego church, should I presume that our guests would all be lego’s? Should I also presume that they would all bring us lego gifts as well?

  2. A marriage built on a firm foundation, one brick at a time. Where more appropriate to get married? Although using the illustrated Bible may make your wedding quite long!! 😉

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
