Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

The Power of Blogging

According to Michelle Malkin, MSNBC had 10.3 million visitors the day of London’s 7/7 terrorist attack.

The most heavily trafficked blog is the very liberal Daily Kos with 212,000 visitors, or 2% of the traffic at MSNBC.

The power of blogs pale next to mainstream media.

Chasing the Wind is running about 212 visitors a day. Rawr.

  1. I usually have less than 100 visits show up on my sitemeter each day. (I know there’s a few dozen reading through feeds as well but it still doesn’t add up to huge numbers.)

I like to think that I appeal to a boutique, niche market.

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
