Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

Thanks Bro

My first attempt at guest blogging didn’t go over as well as I envisioned. I did learn that I am not as opinionated as my brother, or maybe I am, just not the typist he is.
Friday was a fishing day for me. Pulled a few white bass out of the Colorado River. A good solid 6 hours of stress free environment. Then family came to town and more stress free hours sitting on the back porch watching deer and chewing the fat. Filled Mom’s fridge with farm fresh eggs. I did talk her into collecting her own eggs out of the hen house 🙂
Now it’s time for the real blogger to take back over. Hijacking is over.
Thanks Bro!

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
