I’d appreciate your prayers today. I’ll be having Lasik surgery this afternoon. Having your eyeballs lasered sounds like some “B” movie science fiction torture method, but I’m assured this surgery is a positive thing.
I’ll try to post an update when my vision recovers.

Prayers are going out for you, both for the surgery and the recovery! I had the surgery a few years ago and have been celebrating it ever since. I trust you will be thrilled, especially when you first see that there are individual leaves on the trees!:wink:

Sending a prayer for you. Let me know how it goes. I SO want it done, but I don’t think I qualify and I’m pretty sure it costs money.
A co-worker just had it done last Friday and said it was awesome.

The timing is kinda ironic, because Mom is also getting it done this weekend. I’ll be down to help you both, you know, walk into doors and such before you recover. You can walk into doors if you wish to, but wait till you can see again.

Onelamb, Jo, AMM, Courtney – thanks for the prayers. It went very well, I posted the update. Last night I was thinking, “why oh why did I do that?” But this morning, having perfect vision for the first time in my life, I’m thankful I went through with it!
