Tsunami and Banda Aceh, Indonesia

Banda Aceh, Indonesia was close to the epicenter of the earthquake and the resulting tsunami, but it wasn’t until this morning that I understood the magnitude of the impact there. In photos released this morning, here are before and after shots of the shoreline:
