The blogs are circling.

Last week, Newsweek was in more than just hot water – they published a story that American interrogators flushed a Koran down a toilet. Muslim riots everywhere, and at least 16 people died in Afghanistan.

Then Newsweek said they couldn’t verify the story was true. Oops.

So there’s a lot of scrutiny on Newsweek right now – and blogger, thousands of them, are searching for more evidence that Newsweek hates America.

Riding Sun finds some evidence. Newsweek published in Japan this cover art:

The headline translates to, “The Day America Died.” Of course, this would be insulting to Americans, so Newsweek didn’t run this cover picture here. Instead, we got a picture of Bush:

So overseas, Newsweek tells the world that “America is rotting away” and hopes Americans won’t notice.

Would it be so terrible if the mainstream media printed something positive about America for a change?
