Question for Obama: Who Do You Say Jesus Is?

La Shawn Barber asks Obama, “Who Do You Say Jesus Is?”
Obama portrays himself a man of faith. But a man’s level of faith is far less important than what he has placed his faith in. If you have a tremendous amount of faith in the Energizer Bunny, it’s far less effective than faith the size of a mustard seed in Jesus.
Obama says,
“Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And he’s also a wonderful teacher. I think it’s important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.â€
What a tremendous understatement about God Himself sacrificing His Holy Son for us for the forgiveness of sins.

ever hear of separation of church and state? it shouldn’t matter if he worships the energizer bunny or the tooth fairy, religion has no place in politics.

Well, that was a useless comment, Leo. Obama brought up the matter of faith, I’m asking what that faith is in. Your knee-jerk “separation of church and state” comment doesn’t even apply as a) there is no such constitutional requirement, and b) asking about a man’s character and faith is fair game in an election. There are no laws or statues forcing people to follow Obama’s faith (or lack thereof) in discussion.
