The Spring Has Sprung

On the garage door, that is. The release latch doesn’t seem to actually release anything, so I’m stuck inside. I tried to look up a repair place on Superpages.com; what a waste of time that was. Good thing I still have old paper yellow pages.

They should be here by 10:00am. In the meantime, I’m all dressed up and no place to go. And I was looking forward to going to work this morning. Really.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
