Podcasting

I keep reading about this; I want to participate in the “podcasting” frenzy. I want to be a consumer.

What I really want is an automatic way to put podcasts on my Palm Lifestyle when I hotsynch. I want to select podcasts once and have them update automatically.

The only software I’ve found so far is iTunes, but Techblog and Riding with the Window Down say that’s just an example of big business taking over podcasts.

If so, so be it. I just want good quality audio files on my Lifestyle updated automatically.

    Radios don’t time-shift. If I wanted to listen to, say, Rush Limbaugh, and I can’t listen when he comes on, how would I do it?

    Podcasting. Listen when I want.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
