Do It Yourself Ringtones

AudioGizmo - free ringtones!Just the utility I was looking for; I’ve never felt comfortable spending good money on a sliver of music for a ringtone. $3 for that? You gotta be kidding me.

Thanks to a tip from Doug at Coffeeswirls a while back, tonight I tried out AudioGizmo. Pop your CD in your drive, a simple little *snip* to grab a portion, push a button and upload it to your phone. And it’s all free. The AudioGizmo people have a short nag screen that costs a one time cost of $5.99 which is a bargain compared to the price of ringtones. I tried it tonight, took all of 5 minutes of learning and uploading to have a custom ringtone from any mp3 or wav file.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.
