Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

Llama Llama Duck

Just because I thought it was funny. If there’s a socially (or theologically) redeeming quality to this, I don’t know what it is.

  1. Well, it did confuse my wife’s cat when I had your blog running and I went to answer the door.

  2. Which part? The duck?

  3. If I could read cat’s minds I’d be doing that for a living.

  4. A google search of “llama duck” puts Chasing the Wind at number 6.

  5. here’s a llama
    there’s a llama
    and another little llama
    fuzzy llama
    funny llama
    llama llama

    llama llama
    llama llama
    llama llama

    i was once a treehouse
    i lived in a cake
but i never saw the way
    the orange slayed the rake
i was only three years dead
    but it told a tale
    and now listen, little child
    to the safety rail

did you ever see a llama
    kiss a llama
    on the llama
    llama’s llama
    tastes of llama
    llama llama

    half a llama
    twice the llama
    not a llama
    llama in a car
    alarm a llama

is this how it’s told now?
    is it all so old?
is it made of lemon juice?
now my song is getting thin
    i’ve run out of luck
time for me to retire now
    and become a duck

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at
