Chasing the Wind

News. Faith. Nonsense.

Bike for MS

First post in a long while that wasn’t a bible study. 🙂

I’m riding a bicycle for 150 miles in two day for a fundraiser, the MS150, benefitting Multiple Sclerosis.  I also set a goal to raise $1000, and I am oh so close.  Won’t you consider donating?  Here is my fundraising link:

  1. Hi Michael, I’m no longer on FACEBOOK and have not been for over a year now. What other options are there to contribute to MS on your behalf? I would prefer you send me the link to your MS 150 Contribution website. Thanks.

    1. Ah, Betty, I should have thought of that. I’ve edited my post above. I’m not much of a Facebook fan, either.

Here’s my direct fundraising link to the MS150 site: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/aggiemike84

And thank you so much (in advance) for your support.

I’m going to admit my anxiousness; Day 1 alone is 83 miles, all uphill, and probably in the snow. Then Day 2 comes… your prayers on Saturday and Sunday would be much appreciated.

About Me

Michael, a sinner saved by grace, sharing what the good Lord has shared with me.

Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, said, “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

If you’re not living for the glory of God, then what you’re doing is meaningless, no matter what it is. Living for God gives life meaning, and enjoying a “chasing after the wind” is a gift from God. I’m doing what I can to enjoy this gift daily.

Got questions? I’m not surprised. If you have any questions about Chasing the Wind, you can email me at chasingthewind@outlook.com.
