It Makes Me Nauseous

Posted on September 15, 2004. Filed under: Stories | Tags: |

There’s a industrial strength pencil sharpener over the wall in the next cubicle.

When the draftsman, er… draftswoman uses it, the display on my monitor goes all wonky. A warped, vibrating display. Makes me queasy.

If the sharpening noises would just start a split second earlier, I could learn to look away for those 5 seconds.

Just an annoying office observation.

I hate when things make the monitors go all jiggy.

At my office when the A/C kicks on mine gets jiggy for a few seconds. It’s annoying.

The jiggyness started on my monitor years ago, right after that Pink Floyd concert.

Dear JohnJohn, here’s the latest dirty trick – office pencil sharpeners.

Do not adjust your monitor – we have assumed control.
We control the veritcal,
We control the horizontal
We control the media -
Mwahahah.

Ooooh. Good information to have. I think all my pencils are a bit dull…..

Murph. That’s disgusting. Don’t encourage him, Courtney.

And where it stops, nobody knows.

Heh. Last comment belongs to Nascar thread…..
